Porsche Design Tower Groundbreaking
Sunny Isles Beach, FL – April 19, 2013 – Porsche Design celebrated a landmark occasion last friday as the Porsche Design Tower Miami broke ground. A groundbreaking is significant for all upcoming buildings, but this one was especially important because the Porsche Design Tower is the first residential real estate venture for Porsche. The president of New York/South Florida-based Dezer Development, Gil Dezer, and CEO of Porsche Design Group, Dr. Juergen Gesssler, were both at the groundbreaking with their hard hats on. After, they were joined by fellow real estate and design friends for a reception at the tower’s Sales Center and a big beach-side bash with food, drinks, performers, and fireworks to celebrate.
The Porsche Design Tower will have a 33 month contraction window, with over half of the 132 units already under contract. It’ll be a 60-story tower with residences from 4,200 to 17,000 square feet and priced from $4.5 to $25 million. Bringing Porsche’s signature innovation and iconic style, the tower will have a one-of-a-kind car lift system for owners to park in “sky garages” next to their units, along with plunge pools and outdoor summer kitchens on the balconies of almost every unit.
